Gui-PDF.com Privacy policy
Gui-PDF.com respects your privacy. Please read the following to learn more about our policies.
Information we collect
Gui-PDF.com collects and stores the personal information (such as your email address) that you provide when submitting a file.
Our log files automatically record certain non-personal information from your browser including your IP address, the pages you access, and the referring URL. When you submit content, we may also store this information in a database used only by us.
Gui-PDF.com uses cookies to identify your browser. Gui-PDF.com cookies do not collect personal information.
How we use this information
Gui-PDF.com will not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We will only share your information if required by law, to apply our Terms of Service, to protect our rights and property, or if Gui-PDF.com is acquired by a third party.
We will not use your personal information to send commercial or marketing messages without your prior consent. We may use your information in order to contact you regarding Gui-PDF.com functionality and other customer service purposes.
Be aware that any personal information that you voluntarily disclose via a content submission become available to the public.
Contact form
If you use the contact form, you will be asked to provide your email address and your message so we can reply to you. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in answering the requests we receive (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or, where your request concerns entering into a contract, on steps taken at your request before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
To protect the form against automated submissions, each message is checked and stored by a technical service operated by the site's publisher, on servers located in the European Union. This service makes no transfer outside the Union. The check processes the message, the email address, the IP address of the submission, the browser identifier (user agent) and the time of sending. It is based on the publisher's legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR), which is to protect the form and its mailbox from automated submissions.
The form also relies on technical checks used solely to keep out automated submissions. They set no cookie and write nothing to your browser's storage. These security checks are exempt from consent (Article 82 of the French Loi Informatique et Libertés, transposing Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive).
Retention: your message and email address are kept for one year after our last exchange, to keep a record of the correspondence and be able to follow it up, then deleted. Your IP address, browser identifier and spam-check data are deleted after 90 days, without deleting the message. Messages identified as spam are kept for 90 days, so that a message filtered by mistake can be recovered, then deleted. Data may be kept longer only where it is necessary for the documentation of other processes (for example, for the subsequent conclusion of a contract).
This check is performed by encart.fr, an anti-spam service run by the same publisher. The IP address may be compared with our abuse-detection database, which protects all of the publisher's sites. A submission identified as automated on one of our sites may lead, for one month, to submissions from the same IP address or e-mail address being refused on our other sites. The refusal is shown, together with another way to contact us. You can exercise your rights (access, erasure, objection) by writing to us at lienhe@gui-pdf.com.
